Before we knew Jesus, we were sinners. But we got saved by Grace, and we are not sinners anymore, we are a new creation in Christ. 2 Cor 5:17.

So we are now the righteousness of God in Christ. 2 Cor 5:21.

If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us of all our sins and cleanse us of ALL unrighteousness. 1John 1:9  If you confessed it and walked away from it, it’s gone. Don’t beat yourself up.

We are children of God. 1 John 3:1

We died and Christ now lives in us. Colossians 3:3

Who who the Son sets free is free indeed. John 8:36

For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. Romans 6:14 The Lord wants us victorious over sin. He gives us HIS power over sin. We are not under the law, we are under grace. Grace is not to excuse our sin: GRACE IS POWER OVER SIN.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Romans 10:17  If you need more faith, listen to preachers, or read your Bible OUT LOUD.

We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that we may proclaim the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light! 1 Peter 2:9

We live in this world, but we are not of this world.  John 17:16

 

We are new creatures in Christ. We are not to act like the people in the world, who have no hope. We are to be lights in the darkness.
