Well it’s 99% finished. One cabinet door cracked and is being set with wood glue and a clamp, but the rest is done.
The center work island:
Upper cabinets, swoopy thing and kitchen window:
We are planning on painting the wall above–the little strip over the cabinets– a soft gray to give it some wow factor. Contrast.
The corner lazy Susan and hidden rolling garbage/recycle bins:
The pantry:
The side drawers, with their friend the lower cabinet door installed:
The pink is gone!!
I think it looks 10000% better. What do you think?
It’s beautiful. Love the contrast of the dark appliances too. What a great job!

Thank you Terri!! I love black appliances. I know most folks like the stainless steel, but it’s not for me. Once I get the gray accent paint. I think it will look great.

Love the contrast with the black appliances. The gray paint should tie everything together. Great choices.

Thanks Anna! A friend of mine sent a puc with white cabinets and gray accents and it looked great. I’m looking forward to having the painting finished.

Yes, I am hoping after he paints the family room ceiling and the weather is a little warmer, we can have some neighbors over to celebrate the “de-pinking”. 🙂
