Last night the wind blew, causing trees to sway and bend. The rain slammed down loudly on our roof.
I hoped no more trees would fall in our neighborhood; there’s been enough damage.
I heard a loud THUMP on our deck, and a knock on the sliding glass door. I turned on the outside light and opened the door.
It was Paddy O’Furniture. 😂
Our umbrella uprooted itself and banged against the glass door. The table fell over and the chairs were blown all over.
I’ll check the out the damage in the morning.
