Our refrigerator bit the dust today.
We heard the motor whimper and moan, and then it was no more. We checked the contents of the fridge later in the afternoon, but all the items were warm.
We went out to buy a new one, only to discover that no one can deliver for 8 to 10 days! If this had happened only 2 weeks ago, we could have just put the food in the snow bank…. but today we went out and bought a little dorm fridge for necessities, such as milk for my coffee!!
We don’t realize how much we need something until it’s gone. How many times have you walked into a room after the electricity has gone out, and flipped on the light switch just out of habit?
