What is it that you want? An easy life?
Jesus said “My yoke is easy and my burden is light. Take my yoke upon you and you will find rest for your souls.”
Our ideas of an easy life usually involves recreation.
Jesus’ idea of an easy life is to do the will of the Father.
Sometimes this does involve rest, especially on the Sabbath (whichever day you choose to celebrate it.)
Jesus also calls us to enter the Father’s Rest. This means resting in Him or trusting in Him.
To know His will and to do it is rest. We can know His will from reading His word and from listening to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
