Back to the DMV

I left off in my story yesterday with my before DMV Plan.

I had my passport, driver’s license, proof of address, and everything I thought I would need. I even did my hair and makeup in anticipation of a new picture.

I opened the door to the DMV, and the line of humans was right there. Yep, from the sign-in desk to the front door. That usually doesn’t happen in my town. The town I grew up in, yes, it was always that way. If you had to go to DMV, you brought a friend, packed a lunch, and brought something to drink, because you were going to be there all day.

So I must return this morning, and try again, this time with something that proves my social security number is real.

Because someone might want to pretend they are me?!
