The Secret to Picking Raspberries

Instead of just yanking them off the vine, try this gentle approach. This will put the ripe raspberries into your hands, while leaving the not-yet-ready ones on the vine.

Find a nice ripe looking raspberry.
With thumb and forefinger, gently hold. Then twist slightly clockwise, and slightly pull towards you.
Raspberry comes right off, if it's ripe. If not, it will remain on the vine.
