Sadly, no.
It’s a large Tupperware container filled with water! Someone put it in the attic to collect water from a leak somewhere. How long has it been there? Since before we bought the house, I’m guessing. What puzzles me is why no one noticed: the home inspector, the guys who fixed our roof, the guys who installed the bathroom fans, the guys who re-did the roof after the first guys didn’t fix it correctly.
One more task to add to the list of things to do!
