Is this the Real Life? (part 2)
Is this just fantasy?
What if this is really all there is? What would be the point?
If there is an afterlife, don’t you think you should prepare for it? Forever is a long time.
Forever is a really long time to spend in the wrong place.
Romans Chapter 5 says:
(God’s Word Translation)
“ 6 Look at it this way: At the right time, while we were still helpless, Christ died for ungodly people. 7 Finding someone who would die for a godly person is rare. Maybe someone would have the courage to die for a good person. 8Christ died for us while we were still sinners. This demonstrates God’s love for us.
9 Since Christ’s blood has now given us God’s approval, we are even more certain that Christ will save us from God’s anger. 10 If the death of his Son restored our relationship with God while we were still his enemies, we are even more certain that, because of this restored relationship, the life his Son lived will save us. 11 In addition, our Lord Jesus Christ lets us continue to brag about God. After all, it is through Christ that we now have this restored relationship with God.”
In other words, Jesus died for all people. We were in an ungodly state, but He chose to die for us anyway, to save us from God’s wrath. And after we believe on Him, we have a restored relationship with God.
“All that the Father gives me will come to me; and him who comes to me I will not cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me; and this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up at the last day. For this is the will of my Father, that every one who sees the Son and believes in him should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”
John 6:37-40
This is the real Life.Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
