The Principle of the Bigger Mountain

Last week, I had an inner ear infection, causing pain in my ears. THEN, I twisted my knee.

I can no longer feel the pain in my ears. The knee pain is far superior.

This has happened a few times in my life. I would have a problem that I just can’t get rid of. I cry and yell and pray but it just doesn’t move. Then a bigger problem comes along, overshadowing the first problem, and making it look like a grain of sand in comparison.

On September 10, 2001 my son, who was seven at the time, came home and told me about a kid in school he was having trouble with. I was very upset but as I prayed about it that night, I felt it was going to be ok.

The next day was obviously September 11, 2001.

I never heard about any other problems with that kid.
