My post about the Orphan Spirit gets more hits than any of my other posts. It seems there are many of us out there, that feel like we don’t fit in, or something is wrong, but we can’t quite put our finger on it.
There is a legitimate spiritual reason for this feeling, and also a way to be free of this feeling.

Most of the information I gleaned, I posted as it was, with credit to the authors. I had intended to rewrite it in my own words, but I have not been able to do that yet.
I have also considered even doing a video, or maybe a series of videos on this topic, because so many people seem to struggle with it, and I myself am still crawling out from the effects of it.
There are several scriptures that assure us that once we believe on Jesus, we are “grafted in” to the family of God, we are adopted by God Himself.
As much as I do believe in memorizing and meditating on scripture, I still felt something was missing in my understanding of this topic.
Another part of this orphan mentality involves the need of healing the heart. It’s impossible to go through life without heartbreak, but it’s not supposed to define us. I recently stumbled into some information about heart healing. It has to do with forgiveness of course. Also, we need to renounce our negative vows and negative self-talk and replace it with what God’s word says about us.
It’s a process. If I learn how to do it faster, I will be sure to share it with you.
