Soul Decrees by Katie Souza is my current read. The book illuminates the difference between and soul and our spirit. Our Spirit is alive by God’s spirit. Our soul, which is our mind, will and emotions, becomes wounded by trauma, sin, sickness, etc.
The author does a great job of explaining these spiritual truths, and then gives solutions, which are found in God’s word.
Basically we meed to say with our mouth, out loud, what God’s word says about us, and about what Jesus has done for us.
By decreeing and declaring God’s word, power which is already in our spirit is spoken to heal our souls.
I personally feel better after about a week or so of praying and declaring God’s word over myself. I plan to continue for at least a few more months.
