It’s time for me to get back on track. I have spent the last few weeks mourning the loss of my brother. I let myself just fall apart. I ate too much. There I said it. I also spent time watching tv.
I also spent time praying, reading scriptures out loud, and listening to daily prayer calls with intercessors from around the country. On Saturday I had a breakthrough, and heard the Lord say, “Your brother is in heaven. He is happier than he’s ever been. He doesn’t want you to be sad anymore.” Well, the sense of peace I felt after that was awesome.
Now I need to get back to writing. Not just the blog, of which I have obviously been neglectful, but my other planned (and started) writings: Ambassador (which got stuck), Arm Wrestling with Pharaoh (second edition, with updates) and Tesla’s Pigeon, formerly known as Scraps of Paper (which is also stuck).
My question is: How do I get myself on a schedule? Sure, I can write one, but how do I stick to it? Life seems to pop up (today Mr. Porter is off buying a new phone because his died and we spent hours online trying to resolve problems…) and just general distractions.
I am also scheduled to go back to work next week! I was not sure I was going back, but yep, that’s happening.
So… if you have any secrets you would be willing to share, please drop them below. Thanks!
