He was a Swedish immigrant who came to the US in 1920. He worked for Walt Disney studios for quite a while. He did the artwork for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Pinocchio. Rumour has it, he didn’t receive any credit for these two stories and was paid poorly by Disney.
He also did the artwork for the famous children’s books The Poky Little Puppy, Scuffy the Tugboat and The Tawny Scrawny Lion published by Golden Books.
He died in 1970.
