I haven’t blogged much lately. Here’s why.

I cut back on my time on Facebook and Twitter to only minutes a week. I haven’t blogged. But there’s a good reason.

I have finally finished my first manuscript, Arm Wrestling with Pharaoh. It’s set to be ePublished on February 17, 2017.

This book illustrates the struggle between Moses and Pharaoh from the book of Exodus and looks at how we as humans go through similar struggles while trying to reach our goals.

Here’s a quick excerpt:

You know you heard from God. Check.

You said what He told you to say. Check.

You will be ignored, OR ridiculed, or a mix of both. OUCH. Check.

Believe it or not, this book began as a series of blog post several years ago. I noticed how in the KJV version of the bible there was a lot of talk about hands: strong hands, mighty hands, the rod in the hand, going back and forth between Pharaoh against Moses (and God). I imagined Moses and Pharaoh arm wrestling. Voila.

I’m sure that there will eventually be an “updated and expanded” version of this book, but for now, I will “despise not the day of small beginnings.” (Zechariah 4:10)
