I am sitting on the front step of my house, I dare not call it a “porch” yet, as it has no chairs. Bailey is hanging out with me, watching the traffic, garbage trucks, and walkers going by.
I went to a friend’s pool party yesterday, and although I did bring the sunscreen, I was in the pool several hours before I remembered to apply it. Ouch.
Last night I woke up with a bad case of acid reflux, so I took some Prilosec and sat up until the sun came up. Then I went back to bed.
I do have some sunburn but it’s not too bad.
I don’t feel great today and might need more Prilosec.
Last week I drove my friend home from writer group, and found a “free books” sign. There were old books mixed in with newer stuff. I grabbed a bunch of books, being careful not to “glean the field” in case someone else wanted antique books. I did sell one on eBay, and after shipping costs, eBay charge, I am ahead ten bucks. This will go towards my son’s college fund.
I am thinking of having a yard sale in a few weeks. More pennies for me.
