While drinking coffee on my deck and enjoying the weather, this scripture popped into my head.
For some reason, we Christians think that only special people are called to prophesy. We tend to put them on a pedestal.
But the Apostle Paul tells us that we should all pursue love and desire to prophesy.
He goes on to tell us that prophecy is given to edify the church.
Prophecy is not a gift to be sold to the highest bidder, as is the way with some.
It is a gift given for the uplifting of the Body of Christ.
Always remember, our God does not want us ignorant, but to ask for wisdom.
