I’ve been busy with many distractions. It’s time to get back on track.
Our dog Bailey passed away Monday, and I am now fighting the flu. Never a dull moment.
It’s been five years since I self-published my ebook, Arm Wrestling with Pharaoh. My plan now is to add several more chapters, add more hands-on real-life experience, and publish as a paperback.
It’s time for me to choose to get rid of the distractions. I confess, even after all these years, I am a tv-addict. I love binging a series. Right now, I am fluctuating between Crossing Jordan (I love the music on the intro) and The Jeffersons (truly classic tv).
I find that it’s best to grab the laptop and work at the library. That way the laundry doesn’t call to me from the other room. As soon as this flu blows over, I plan to spend 2 days a week at the library. I work part-time so I won’t go on the days that I work.
We are penciling in a trip to Niagara Falls this summer with the family. Maybe I should set a goal of four chapters done by then. Yes, I have a planner book, and I need to use it more often. I buy planners as if they are going to jump up and tell me what to do each day.
I’ve also taken to listening to Vivaldi in the car. One reason I like Classical Music (except Opera) is because there are no lyrics. No words. No one else’s opinion. There is also something about the violin/fiddle that makes my brain feel good.
One of my favorite fiddle songs–no lyrics!

Can you tell Lindsey is of Scottish heritage?!
I am also a FREE online/email class by Donna Partow to help motivate me to make better use of my time. Check her out on Amazon.
So hopefully before the year 2022 is over, my paperback will be available!!
